Greetings DSHRM Members and Guests!

It's hard to believe we are just days away from the #LeadwithBrilliance Conference. We are excited to see you all this Thursday-9/12/24. Thank you for joining us for a day of learning, networking and growth!!

If you have not already registered for the Wednesday 9/11/24 Pre-Conference Reception honoring our Past Presidents, please do so ASAP. It will be an upscale event and cocktail attire is encouraged.

Come celebrate 65 years of Leadership, Legacy & Longevity as we celebrate our Past Presidents! There are still tickets available, but we have a limited amount! The reception is free, but you must pre-register. Here is the registration link: Detroit SHRM - Events

Know Before You Go:

Below are a few instructions and reminders. If you run into any problems onsite or have any questions, please come to the Registration table, the DSHRM exhibitor booth, or look for someone with a “Board Member” or “Volunteer” sticker on their badge. They will be happy to assist you!

Directions

· There is plenty of free parking in the deck behind the Westin. Look for the DSHRM signs to make your way to the lobby area of the hotel. There is also valet parking available for a fee. Just follow the signs in front of the hotel entrance.

· Registration opens at 8:00 am sharp. Please check in with the Registration table upon arrival, so you can collect your badge,your conference bag etc.

·The dress code is business casual and comfortable.

· Grab some breakfast and be sure to check out the exhibitor tables.

· The conference kicks off with a Wellness Warm-up at 8:45 am, followed by Opening Remarks from the DSHRM President begin at 9:00am, with the Opening Keynote kicking off the day at 9:30am in the Algonquin Ballroom .

· Breakout speakers and panels follow, with lunch hour around noon.

· The Closing Keynote will wrap-up the educational part of the day beginning at 3:40pm, including a chance to win a prize for the diligent exhibitor booth visitors!
